Level 3 T Level in Health (Full Time)

Please note that the full time option for this course is predominantly aimed at 16 to 19 year olds.

However, if you’re an adult aged over 19, why not consider one of our part-time courses?

Course overview

This qualification allows you to develop an understanding of working within the health sector. It has been developed in consultation with employers in the healthcare industry to ensure you gain the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviours that will give you the change of progressing to a career in this field.

Staff experience: all staff are experienced in delivering health and social care qualifications with some having worked in the industry previously.

We are hoping to have new facilities to support delivery of T level in health including a mannequin to support preparation for working with service users.

Delivery information: college will be 4 days per week plus industry placement during the academic year.

Entry requirements

Grade 4 or above in English Language and maths and a science plus 2 more GCSE’s at grade 4 and above.

Health and wellbeing
Infection prevention and control

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is through written exams and an Employer Set Project at the end of year 1 followed by further exams in year 2. All assessments are externally set and marked.

What can I do next

Progress to higher education or apprenticeship. Employment opportunities, depending on occupational specialism, include healthcare support worker, social care worker, domiciliary care worker.
