Shortlisting Success for HoW College Lecturer!

We are delighted to announce that HoW College Science Lecturer, Emily Roberts, has been shortlisted for in the New Teacher of the Year category of the Worcestershire Education Awards 2023!
Emily joined HoW College in October 2021 and currently teaches on both the College’s Applied Science and Access to Higher Education courses. Emily will join other nominees at the awards ceremony on Thursday 20th April at The Abbey Hotel, in Malvern; hosted by Julian Wharam, a radio Presenter, DJ, teacher and teacher trainer. When speaking about her shortlisting success, Emily said:
“I feel very grateful to have been nominated for the award and excited to be a finalist! I would really like to mention my fantastic students and supportive colleagues here and thank them for their hard work and enthusiasm.”
Speaking about Emily and her nomination, her team said:
“Well done, Emily, we appreciate the valuable contributions you have made to the team and support for the students, sometimes forgetting how recently you started as a teacher and wish you the best for the award ceremony!”
