Hippie, Hippie, Hooray!

Congratulations to Heart of Worcestershire College (HoW College) student, Sarah White, who was announced the runner up in the #HabiaFest competition, accredited by Habia, with her hippie inspired festival look!
Sarah released her inner flower power as she faced tough competition from other beauty therapists, hairdressers, barbers and make-up artists from around the UK.
Habia is the government approved standards setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa. The organisation runs competitions throughout the year, such as #HabiaFest, to engage and develop qualified and training professionals from across the country.
Talking about Sarah’s success, Lecturer, Gail Tyrer said:
“I am very proud of Sarah as this competition was open to hairdressers, barbers, beauty therapists and makeup artists qualified or training across the country. To be a runner up in such a big competition is a huge achievement for Sarah, well done!”
Since entering the completion, Sarah has progressed onto her Level 3 Diploma in Theatrical and Media Make-up at the College. We wish her the best of luck for the future.
