Taking their skills to new lengths, Heart of Worcestershire College's (HoW College) Level 2 and 3 hairdressing students recently attended an enrichment trip to Wella hair studio in Manchester.

This trip was a fantastic opportunity for the learners to further their skills and knowledge of new techniques and products used within the hairdressing industry. Not only will these newly learnt skills benefit the students when working on clients in the College's hairdressing salon, Fusion; it will also allow the students to develop their skills in readiness for employment after college.

Talking about the trip, HoW College's Hairdressing Lecturer, Sue Vernon, said:

"I feel it is really essential for our learners to be offered extra enrichment as part of their course, so to visit the Wella studios was a superb opportunity that we couldn't miss."

Talking after the event, Level 3 hairdressing student, Christopher Lavery, commented:

"The training has motivated me and inspired me to create new looks for my clients."

HoW College is proud to provide its students with visits such as these to develop their skills and knowledge.
