Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems, Level 2
This qualification is designed for anyone looking to develop their understanding of mental health and the problems that can cause mental health problems.
No qualifications or experience necessary, however, learners must be 16 or over.
Course content will include:
> Understanding dementia
> Understanding eating disorders
> Understanding stress, anxiety and phobias
> Understanding depression and post-natal depression
> Understanding bipolar disorder and schizophrenia
> Understanding ADHD, OCD and PTSD
How will I be assessed?
Learners will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence.
What can I do next
The objective of this qualification is to develop the learners understanding of a range of mental health problems, which could be used to support their role in the workplace, or where they may work or interact with individuals with mental health problems.
