Forward Focus
Course overview
This course is for students who are working at Entry 3 or just below and are interested in finding out more about the world of work. Students may have barriers to learning such as high levels of anxiety, social interaction difficulties or may have been home educated and are looking for additional support to re-enter education. Students are able to access learning with some independence yet may need support to do so. Students learn how to participate in and stay safe in the local community and work towards preparing for adulthood and looking after themselves and during breaktimes and on arrival to and departure from college.
Entry requirements
Entry level 2, 3 learners with special educational needs and a Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP)

How will I be assessed?
You will receive an ongoing assessment of your needs, with personal targets set to promote your learning and support progression. You will complete a folder of your work. Your tutor will mark your work and meet with you to give you feedback.
