Course overview

Math skills are essential for gaining employment or going onto higher education. More and more employers are asking for these qualifications at a Grade C or above. Therefore we have designed our courses to ensure you can further develop these skills in a practical and useful way. In addition, for those who have not quite achieved their GCSEs in Maths and English we can support you to do so. Depending on your grade you have achieved at school you will either take part in our functional skills programme or GCSE resits. Our expert tutors will support you all the way, providing tips and giving feedback to help you succeed.

GCSE Mathematics helps students develop a knowledge and understanding of: problem solving, reasoning, applying maths in context and the functional elements of maths.

Entry requirements

We would recommend that students are at a grade D level to find this course most accessible.
