Course Overview

The ESOL Level 1 course develops learners’ ability to use English confidently and accurately in a wide range of everyday, community and work related contexts. It focuses on strengthening communication skills through more complex speaking and listening tasks, reading longer and detailed texts, and producing well structured written work such as emails, reports and formal letters. Learners practise expressing opinions, presenting information clearly, understanding implicit meaning, and using grammar with increased accuracy.
