Course Overview

This is a foundation-level qualification designed for learners aiming to begin a career in the electrotechnical industry. It provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required for progression into employment, apprenticeships, or further study at Level 3.

For this course, learners will need Electricians VDE hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, side cutters, tape measure, boat spirit level, stubby hammer), an On-Site Guide, safety boots, work trousers, College polo shirt and scientific calculator.

Entry requirements

Either or 4 GCSE's at grade 3 or above including maths and English at grade 4 or above or a Level 1 Diploma in Electrical Installation and maths and English GCSE's at grade 4 or above.
