Course overview

This is a Level 1 qualification that enables you to progress into further learning in the construction sector. You will learn practical skills that enable you to complete common tasks in carpentry and joinery. You will take this qualification if you wish to improve your manual dexterity to enable you to progress in to further learning in construction.

Entry requirements

A minimum of a Grade 2 in GCSE English and Mathematics.

Phase 2: Wall & Floor Tiling, Construction, Operations, Painting & Decorating
Phase 3: Carpentry
