Course Overview

The Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Studies (6035-02) is a recognised foundation qualification that builds on Level 1 plumbing skills and equips learners with the knowledge and workshop experience needed for entry-level plumbing roles and further training.

Delivered as a part-time adult programme (one day per week) — typically over 30–36 weeks — this course blends classroom theory with hands-on practical sessions in workshop environments.

Students will need:
Steel toe-capped safety footwear — mandatory for all workshop sessions

High-visibility workwear / vest

Safety glasses and gloves (as specified by the provider)

Tools & Stationery

Tape measure (e.g., 5 m building tape)

Notebook / notepad for class notes and portfolio evidence

Pens, pencils and ruler

Folder or binder for course documents and portfolio items

Entry requirements

Must be aged 19 years or older.
