Considering a career as a Carpenter? Our Technical Certificate in Site Carpentry, Level 2 will develop your knowledge and experience to become a qualified Carpenter. Throughout the courses student will have the opportunity to gain job related work experience and are taken to various trade shows and local construction sites

Entry requirements

GCSE English and maths as a Grade 4 and above as well as a desire to work in the industry

- The principles of construction
- Structural carpentry
- Non-structural carpentry prior to plastering
- Non-structural carpentry following plastering
- Timber technology and the use of circular saw
