Course Overview

The Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying is designed for learners who have developed basic skills and want to advance their knowledge and practical ability in masonry construction.

This qualification builds on Level 1 skills and focuses on more complex brickwork tasks, accuracy, productivity, and understanding construction principles. The course combines practical workshop training with classroom-based theoretical learning, ensuring learners understand both how to carry out tasks and why methods are used within industry standards.

Learners will need stationery, steel toe capped safety boots and a tape measure.

Entry requirements

Minimum GCSE grade 2 in both English language and mathematics.
