Course Overview

The Level 1 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery is an introductory qualification designed for learners who want to develop the basic skills and knowledge required to begin a career in the construction and woodworking industries.

The course combines practical workshop training with classroom-based theoretical learning, enabling learners to understand both the techniques used in carpentry and the principles that underpin safe and effective construction work.

For this course learners will need stationery, steel toe capped safety boots, a tape measure and a scale rule

Entry requirements

Minimum of GCSE grade 2 in English language and mathematics.
