Course Overview

The Level 2 Extended Certificate in Digital and IT Skills provides a comprehensive and practical grounding in key digital competencies needed for employment, apprenticeships, or progression to higher level IT study. Learners develop a broad skill set across areas such as digital career progression, website and media design, cybersecurity fundamentals, programming, spreadsheets, databases, mobile and web technologies, and emerging digital tools, with optional specialist units available to tailor learning to career interests. Delivered through portfolio based assessment and hands on practical tasks, the qualification equips learners with the technical confidence and applied digital skills valued by employers.
