Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles, Level 2

Course Overview

The Level 2 Diploma provides learners with the technical knowledge and understanding required for a career in light vehicle maintenance and repair. It is ideal for learners looking to progress toward a Vocational Competence Qualification (VCQ) or an apprenticeship. The qualification offers a standardised approach to developing core skills across vehicle systems, preparing learners for employment or further technical study.

Students will need Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as overalls, safety boots, and gloves and classroom basics (pens, paper, folder).

Entry requirements

Successful completion of Level 1 in Automotive Maintenance and GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above, or progression shown on Level 1. And a successful interview.
