Diploma in Automotive Maintenance, Level 1
Course Overview
The Level 1 Diploma is an introduction to the automotive sector, aimed at learners who want to understand and use practical skills and core knowledge relating to vehicle maintenance. Learners develop hands‑on competence in a workshop environment, preparing them for progression into further training or entry‑level roles in the industry.
Learners will need Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as overalls, safety boots, and gloves and classroom basics (pens, paper, folder).
Entry requirements
Two GCSEs at grade 2, including Maths and English, or an Entry Level 3 qualification, or equivalent and a successful interview.
