UAL Diploma in Creative Arts & Performance (Vocational Studies), Level 1
Course overview
Do you want to pursue a creative subject but lack the grades to do so? Our Level 1 Diploma in Art, Performance and Production course will give you a grounding in key aspects of creative study, giving you the skills and experience to advance onto further study within the area.
Using our specialist studios, workshops and performance spaces in Bromsgrove and Worcester you will be given a strong grounding in the creative arts whilst developing your own skills and specialisms.
During this course you will be invited to meet with specialist practitioners and are encouraged to visit galleries, both locally and some of the more acknowledged contemporary galleries within the UK.
Please note that this course is predominantly aimed at 16 to 19 year olds.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements however applicants would be expected to demonstrate interest in the creative arts.

How will I be assessed?
Your work and practice will be continually assessed across the year, as you build up a portfolio of work leading toward a final project or performance at the end of the academic year.

Successful completion of this course could allow you to progress onto Level 2 Art and Design, Level 2 Performing Arts and Production, Level 2 Music or Level 2 Creative Media courses.
