Course overview

The Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering has been designed to meet the requirements of many Engineering apprenticeship standards, including the Mechatronics Maintenance Technician. The course can be delivered to adults working in an Engineering related role to further develop knowledge and skills and enhance progression opportunities. It enables learners to complete additional optional units to allow for greater specialism in their chosen areas. There are 5 mandatory units and 6 optional units to complete. Entry requirements

No prior knowledge, understanding, skills or qualifications are required before learners enrol for this qualification. In order to optimise success candidates will typically have four GCSEs at Grade
4 or equivalent, including Mathematics, English and a Science.

A variety of assessment methods are used including Projects, Reports, Coursework, Presentations and Assignments.

What can I do next

You can use your Diploma in Engineering Level 3 to progress to one of our undergraduate courses such as a HNC in Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
