In October 2022, Heart of Worcestershire College’s (HoW College) Level 1 Art students opened their creative minds to help design a new fingerpost for Worcester city centre and were successful in having a design chosen. 

We’re thrilled to see that the design has now been brought to life and can be proudly seen opposite the College’s All Saints’ building  

Worcester Business Improvement District (Worcester BID) launched a project to redesign some of the fingerposts that are placed around Worcester city centre. The brief stated that the design needed to reflect the College and its values and could involve students, teachers and parents' associations and could also be run as an educational project.   

The students were given a blank template and from that they had to come up with different ways to design the fingerpost whilst using the college's colour and design theme. A huge thank you to the Worcester BID team and the talented artists decorating Worcester City’s fingerposts with beautiful artwork.
