Course overview

Do you enjoy giving your friends manicures and facials? Or can’t wait to try out the latest make-up trends? Do you dream of turning your passion for beauty into a career? If the answer is yes, then this is the course for you. This course balances theory with some great hands-on experience. At one of our onsite salons, you will learn how to provide basic manicures and pedicures, skin care, basic make-up and art of photograph make-up to support you into the beauty therapy industry. Through learning in our on-site salons, Fountains and Fusion which are open to the public, you will gain real world work experience be working on clients.

Please note that for all hair and beauty courses it is a mandatory requirement to wear uniform.

Please note that the full-time option for this course is predominantly aimed at 16- to 19-year-olds.

Entry requirements

4 GCSE (Graded 2 and above) including maths & English.
Entry will be subject to a satisfactory interview.

Internal and external assessments through a variety of practical, theory and exams.
