Course overview

Do you enjoy doing your friends and family hair? Or can’t wait to try out the latest hair up techniques. Do you dream of turning your passion for hair into a career? If the answer is yes, then this is the course for you. This course balances theory with some great hands-on experience. At one of our onsite salons, you will learn how to provide basic shampooing, plating, and twisting to support you into the Hair industry. Through learning in our on-site salons, Fountains and Fusion which are open to the public, you will gain real world work experience be working on clients.

Please note that for all hair and beauty courses it is a mandatory requirement to wear uniform.

Please note that the full-time option for this course is predominantly aimed at 16- to 19-year-olds.

Entry requirements

4 GCSE (Graded 2 and above) including maths & English.

Entry will be subject to a satisfactory interview.

How will I be assessed?

Internal and external assessments through a variety of practical, theory and exams.
