Award in Awareness of End of Life Care, Level 2
This qualification is appropriate for those who are looking to develop their knowledge in this area. This could include workers in hospices, care homes, care in the community and primary care. It is also ideal for anyone who may need an understanding of this subject even though they are not directly involved in the care of individuals.
No qualifications or experience necessary, however, learners must be 16 or over.
This qualification provides the opportunity to develop an understanding of different perspectives of death and dying, and the impact it has on individuals. It covers the aims and principles of end of life care, communication factors and how to access a range of support services in end of life care.

You will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence.
