Diploma in Digital Media, Level 2
Creative digital media is a rapidly expanding sector in the UK, with an increasing demand for skilled practitioners. This course offers a broad range of skills, from digital art to using game engines.
Throughout this course you will gain skills in animation and graphic design while also working on 2D computer game engines. You will also gain invaluable knowledge of the games and software industry, including communication techniques and research skills.
Please note that this course is predominantly aimed at 16 to 19 year olds.
Applicants require 4 GCSE’s grade 3 and above (A*-D) to include English and maths. Entry will be subject to a satisfactory reference and interview.
Entry decisions will be discretionary at interview. Students will continually be assessed through probation period to ensure they are on the correct level.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through a combination of coursework activities, such as short tests, reports, practical activities and projects.
You will have the chance to work with local developers and businesses to create products for them, thus building your portfolio in a real working environment.
