Microsoft Office Applications: Advanced Users, Level 3

Course overview

The Level 3 Diploma for IT Users (iTQ) is an advance course designed to meet the needs of today’s businesses. It is a hands-on, applied qualification to give you a chance to gain a nationally recognised vocational qualification with the opportunity to progress to either employment or further education within the IT sector.

Delivery Information:
The duration of this course is one academic year. This course is a tutor lead self-study course which can with take place online or in the classroom.

Entry requirements

GCSE Grade 4 or above in English & Maths (or equivalent) plus an IT level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience).

How will I be assessed?

All assessments are undertaken at the HoW College IT Skills Centre and will involve using a computer and the skills you have learnt throughout each unit.

What can I do next

ITQ is a recognised entry qualification for work in the general employment sector and is commonly a basic requirement for most employers. This covers a very wide range of jobs and career opportunities.

With your level 3 qualification you could also progress onto the City & Guilds Level 4 Higher Professional Diploma in Information Management Using ICT.
