Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a dedicated pathway equipping you with the relevant industry knowledge, skills and behaviours whilst working alongside experienced staff. Apprentices get paid for their work as well as receiving training relating to their employment, whilst Traineeships are an ideal pre-apprenticeship programme designed to support learners to gain essential skills that appeal to employers.

ESOL, IT Skills and Adult Recreational Courses
Our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes give you the skills you need to use English in your life in Britain. You will learn to use and understand how English is used in the UK.
Our English lessons will teach you about English grammar and vocabulary. You will also be able to really improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. You can also gain qualifications that are internationally recognised, such as City & Guilds Skills for Life in ESOL, and the Cambridge ESOL suite of exams (First/FCE etc.).

Inclusive Learning (NEET)

Here at HoW College we offer a number of level 1 courses, designed to help students build a core foundation of skills and knowledge to succeed in their desired field.
These courses include:
CARE: Adult, Children and Young People: An ideal starting point for those considering a career in health and social care & early years.
Prospects: Helping students to develop their confidence and abilities in different skills in order to successfully progress onto an apprenticeship, further education course or employment.
