HoW College is tech-cellent!
Celebrations are underway at Heart of Worcestershire College (HoW College) as its Blended Learning Consortium (BLC) is recognised within the EdTech50!
The Edtech50 recognises the best of the UK’s education technology people, products and projects, selected by a judging panel of expert educators and industry leaders.
The BLC was formed by HoW College in 2015 and aims to support colleges in moving forward to meet accredited guidelines and allow members to benefit from the creation and sharing of high quality online learning content. As a result of the College’s innovative work, over 40% of general further education colleges in the UK are now part of the Consortium.
Commenting on the College’s success, ILT Director, Peter Kilcoyne said:
“The Consortium is based around the principles of democracy, collaboration and sharing. To be recognised for our contribution to the UK’s education and technology sector is a huge honour.”
Ty Goddard, Director of Edtech UK, added:
“The Blended Learning Consortium, the work of Peter Kilcoyne and the partner Colleges is a great collaboration.”
