Spires Travel Manager, Paul Knapper, is flying high this week as he is welcomed aboard Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation (TIPTO)’s Agent Ambassador Programme.

Established in 1999, TIPTO is a membership group of leading tour operators who support UK Travel Agents with training, marketing support, offers, incentives and competitions.

As the Manager of Spires Travel, an independent travel agency based in Heart of Worcestershire College’s (HoW College) All Saints’ Building, Worcester, Paul has over 17 years of experience working in the travel and tourism industry.

Talking about becoming a TIPTO Agent Ambassador, Paul said:

“I’m truly honoured to add the title of TIPTO Agent Ambassador to my accolades. I am a regular at events and strongly believe the events offer a very real opportunity for agents to learn and therefore earn – no other association offers this on such a scale. I can’t wait to get stuck into the new role and hope to really have an impact on the way the association does things."

As an Agent Ambassador, Paul will be given the opportunity to attend TIPTO’s general meetings with an overall objective to help shape its future by influencing everything from the set up and delivery of roadshow events and training sessions, through to the incentives offered by members.
