Heart of Worcestershire College’s (HoW College) Special Educational Needs (SEN) students swapped the classroom for corsages as they hosted their end of year proms!

Taking place at the College’s Redditch and Worcester campuses, the students got suited and booted to celebrate the end of term in style with two themed proms.

Over in Redditch, the students were granted a license to thrill as they shook up the College during their James Bond themed prom, whereas, over in Worcester students were starry-eyed as they enjoyed a night under the star themed bash!

As well as attending, the students helped plan the events, making their own decorations and helping with the purchasing of food.

Talking about the events, CRQ Leader for SEN, Debbie Morris said:

“Both proms were fantastic and there were over sixty learners at each event. It was amazing to see learners in a totally different environment which wouldn’t have happened if the staff hadn’t given up their time to make it such a special occasion. Well done all!”

HoW College prides itself on being able provide its students with equal opportunities to help them reach their maximum potential. To find out more about HoW College’s SEN provision, please visit howcollege.ac.uk.
