Congratulations to Heart of Worcestershire College (HoW College) student, Emma Kirbyson, who is sailing off to success after beginning employment with renowned cruise ship spa company, Steiner.
After successfully finishing her level 3 beauty therapy course with HoW College, Emma has signed a nine month contract to work with the quality spa and salon service, Steiner, and has recently boarded the Royal Princess, a luxury cruise ship complete with two Spa facilities and a fitness centre.
Speaking about Emma's success, Heart of Worcestershire College (HoW College) Beauty Therapy Lecturer, Christine Williams, commented:
'Over her 2 years here she was gaining experience in the industry by working full time in a local salon, which she loved. Emma has worked extremely hard juggling work and college but she always had in the back of her mind she wanted to travel and work on the cruise ships.'
Emma achieved her goal after passing an intensive interview in Birmingham, followed by 3 weeks of beauty and fitness training at the Steiner Training Academy in London. After completing her training, Emma was then offered her contract as part of the on board spa and fitness crew.
Well done Emma, we wish you the best with your future endeavours!
