If so our Travel and Tourism courses could be just the ticket for you. From organising conferences and events to learning how to resolve problems in an emergency situation, this course will help you to develop skills needed to succeed in this fast paced industry. Our first class facilities include a dedicated Travel and Tourism teaching area which include a mock airline cabin and check in desk. Our supportive, knowledgeable team have extensive industry experience extending over Travel Retail, Overseas Resort Operation, Cabin Crew, Cruising, Conference and Event Organisation, Tourist Information Centre, Adventure Tourism and Hospitality roles.
You will learn about the key areas of the travel and tourism industry. You will find out about different types of tour operators such as Thomas Cook and Thomson Holidays and learn how they put together package holidays, create brochures and promote their products.
The tourism industry is a fast growing industry and our programme will equip you with the skills, knowledge and passion needed for working within it. Our lecturers all have extensive knowledge and industry experience to enhance your learning.
Please note that for all travel and tourism courses it is a mandatory requirement to wear uniform.
Please note that this course is predominantly aimed at 16 to 19 year olds.
5 GCSEs A*-C (9-4) including English and maths. Entry will be subject to a satisfactory reference and interview.
