Hospitality and Catering

Are you at home in the kitchen? Could you be the next Jamie Oliver? Or do you fancy running your own restaurant, bar or hotel? Then our hospitality and catering courses could be perfect for you. Our impressive training kitchens in Worcester and Redditch match the high standards set by the professional catering industry and are the perfect environment to develop key skills and techniques. As well as our professionally equipped kitchens, our Redditch campus is also home to our commercial restaurant Archers; a real-life working restaurant specialising in fine British and French cuisine with a service that is of a standard expected in top hotels. This allows our hospitality and catering students to gain real life experience of working in the industry. We also offer a range of local and national work experience placements and organise visits to a variety of catering establishments, including cooking at the Cheltenham Festival and visiting London's Michelin starred restaurants. You will also be encouraged to enter major national competitions to display your skills.

 

If it wasn't for all the support from everyone at the College I would never in a million years would have achieved what I have done. It just shows that with the right people and with a little confidence in yourself that you really can achieve big things. I was once a catering student in little old Worcester and now I've represented my country on a world stage!
