Fast-Track BA (Hons) in Business Management Top Up

Course overview

Have you previously competed a HND/FdA in Business (or similar course) and feel it’s now time to go ahead and achieve a full honours degree in Business Management? If so, this top-course is the one for you!

This unique ‘fast-track’ course enables you to convert a HND or Foundation Degree in Business and/or Management (or equivalent qualification) to a full BA (Hons) in Business Management on a part-time basis in only one year. The course is validated by Staffordshire University.

During the course, you will further explore many of the business and management topics you have already covered during your HND/Foundation Degree course, but at a more strategic level. You will also further develop your leadership potential and the skills required to; conduct in-depth inquiry, solve complex problems and undertake critical evaluation.

We aim to deliver a stimulating and challenging programme of study that is both engaging and memorable for our students. Our small class sizes allow for; innovative delivery, targeted personal support and regular one-to-one tutorials.

All lecturers who deliver on this course hold Masters degree qualifications and/or professional qualifications in their specialist subjects. In addition, all staff teaching on the course have relevant occupational experience at an appropriate level of seniority.

Entry requirements

Applicants will normally have completed a HND/Foundation Degree in Business and/or Management.
Other equivalent level 5 qualifications in Business and/or Management (including international equivalents) and
non-business qualifications such as HND in Computing, HND in Leisure and Tourism are also considered.

Applicants whose first language is not English must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the English language at a minimum level of CEFR level B2/IELTS Level 6 (reading and writing must be at level 6 ) or TOEFL score of 550 or equivalent standards.

The College has a commitment to widening participation in Higher Education, and will therefore give careful consideration to prior experiential learning, non-traditional qualifications and qualifications obtained outside of the United Kingdom.

The course is continually assessed via a variety of assessment methods including: reports, essays, individual/ group projects and presentations.
